SPAIN (Castile and León), Seville, gold dobla de 35 maravedís, Pedro I "the cruel" (1350-69), bust type, NGC AU 53. Cay-1276; Fr-105. 4.46 grams. Broad flan with full Gothic legends around bust of king on obverse and cross-lions-castles on reverse, with toning around details, rich color with muted luster, small mark and hairlines in obverse field but overall a nice example of this popular late-medieval issue.
