Impressively broad flan with bold and well-detailed facing portraits, choice full crowned shield, nearly full legends in Latin lettering (later variety), rich gold color with light high-point wear and hairlines on obverse, a rare and desirable type, second finest in NGC census behind a single AU 55 (with one higher at MS62 in the PCGS census).
