An above average planchet for this variety with only minor planchet flaws including a small one on the cheek and a longer one through the globe and 7. No corrosion, verdigris, or notable contact marks. Superior to the Perkins and Taylor examples of the variety. Struck with the reverse misaligned to K-7 leaving part of the 17 off the planchet.
