^Lot 248 1787 Nova Eborac (New York), Reverse Figure Seated Left Breen-986, W-5755 R3, PCGS graded XF40

Choice glossy chocolate and olive brown with underlying lighter brown in the fields. Smooth and very attractive. The only marks are a thin planchet fissure from the rim to the top of the head (as struck) and a small nick on the floret behind the head. Struck slightly off center to K-7 leaving parts of the legend off the planchet. The date was lightly punched into the die and is not strong, but it is easily readable on this example.
