Lot 254 1789 Mott Token, Thick Planchet with Engrailed Edge, Breen-1024, PCGS graded MS62 Brown

Frosty light brown with steel brown toning on the highpoints. There is a trace of friction on the highest points of the devices and a few tiny planchet flakes and fissures on both sides, none significant. MDS. Struck with the reverse rotated 165 degrees clockwise. A nice example of the Engrailed Edge variant that Breen called "Ex. rare." Listed on page 72 in the "Redbook."
