Another anti-King George III theme. NOTED ADVOCATES FOR THE RIGHTS OF MAN with a standard 1793 BIRMINGHAM HALFPENNY reverse. The three hanging men are Thomas Spence, Sir Thomas More, and Thomas Paine. A sharp, very attractive piece with prooflike fields and hints of faded mint color on the obverse.
