^Lot 125 1787 Connecticut Miller 11.1-E R2 MBL, PCGS graded VF30

Dark olive brown with slightly lighter steel brown on the highpoints. The planchet is covered with microscopic roughness and verdigris that limits the gloss and there is a spot of greenish corrosion on the bust. A shallow planchet flaw reaches from the mouth to the rim and a smaller one cuts through the 1 in the date. Struck slightly off center to K-3 on the obverse, slightly more off center to K-10 on the reverse. The date is strong. The attribution and Twin Leaf provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
