Lot 126 1787 Connecticut Miller 11.2-K R2 MBL, PCGS graded XF45

Glossy medium brown and light chocolate. The planchet is mostly smooth but there are tiny planchet chips on much of the portrait and top of the reverse, and there is a patch of fine corrosion with verdigris on the eye. Intermediate die state with a strong break CT and obvious die wear on the obverse devices. Struck slightly off center to K-2. Weight 152.7 grains. Comes with a nice provenance. The attribution and Robert M. Martin Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
