^Lot 146 1787 Connecticut Miller 33.1-Z.13 R5- DBL, PCGS graded XF40

Glossy medium brown and light chocolate with some mahogany tones in protected areas. Smooth with trivial planchet chipping on the head and lower part of the seated figure. The only notable mark is a small spot of very fine verdigris under the right foot of the R in AUCTORI. Struck slightly off center to K-1 leaving the bottom of the date tight to the edge. Minor swelling shows under AUC. Weight 142.2 grains. The attribution and Robert M. Martin Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
