^Lot 198 1787 Connecticut Miller 37.4-k.1 R3 DBL, PCGS graded VF20

Glossy light steel brown and golden tan. Mostly smooth but there are some of the usual small planchet fissures, mostly in the center of the obverse and lower part of the seated figure. Earlier die state than the preceding lot with swelling on the obverse but far less "spalling" roughness around the legends. The date is strong and the legends are clear. The attribution and Twin Leaf provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
