Lot 78 1788 Massachusetts Cent with Period Ryder 3-A, W-6210 R4 PCGS graded MS63 Brown

Glossy medium chocolate with frosty lighter brown in protected areas. Sharply struck with great eye appeal. The only marks are a few barely visible scuffs on the top of the bow right of the N, a very light bruise on the rim at the N in COMMON, and a fine planchet cutter line at the rim on the top of the reverse. The lines in the Indian's tunic are sharp as are all the feathers on the eagle. Another great Massachusetts copper; a die combination that is difficult to find in grades above EF.
