^Lot 212 1788 Connecticut Miller 7-F.2 R6 MBL, PCGS graded F15

Slightly glossy medium brown with darker reddish chocolate brown in protected areas. The highpoints are smooth but the fields and protected areas are covered with fine roughness mixed with a few specks of greenish verdigris. The lower part of the obverse is weak as is CONNEC, but everything else is properly struck. The date and AUCTOPI error are complete and strong. Earlier die state. The crack through the hand on the staff and head is clear but there is no evidence of die clashing. The attribution and Twin Leaf provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
