Nesmith-50g type; Cal-127; S-M5; KM-18. Very broad flan extending past the outer borders, also well struck (no doubling or flatness), full legends and interiors, darkly toned all over but no corrosion. Recovered from: “Golden Fleece wreck,” sunk ca. 1550 in the northern Caribbean
