Lot 119 Grass Valley Brewery Calendar Die Cut
The first piece Tom bought for his collection. D.J. Binkelman, Proprietor. Red flowers surround a profile view of a beautiful, smiling brunette woman. Miniature calendar (May 1906) at the bottom. Portions missing upper right. die cut measures 14" x 20" in a (broken) 21" x 32" oval frame. The name Binkelman appears with the Grass Valley Brewery in an 1865 Sacramento Daily Union article and an 1867 Grass Valley directory. Burt Collection
