^Lot 175 Buffalo Brewing Co. Hand-colored Photograph

This 24" x 19" photograph was hand-colored in earthy tones. Pictured is the Buffalo Brewing Factory in Sacramento in full operation. Smoke is billowing out the top, and twelve wagons with Buffalo Brewery printed on the canvas are lined up in front, ready to collect their shipments. What Western towns were these wagons heading to? The blue sky does not compete with the impressive nature of the building. The bottom right corner identifies the photographer as Valentine in Los Angeles. Frame measures 31" x 27." Burt Collection
