Michael Eckles, owner/auctioneer of Showtime Auctions has been working and/or attending antique auctions since 1956. In the last 10 years, he has dedicated himself to creating auction events that not only offer attendees the opportunity to purchase rare and unusual investment grade antiques and collectibles. He also makes sure that he involves himself directly with all of the consigners and makes sure he gets top dollar for all of their valuables. Mr. Eckles and his wife Lori engage themselves into all aspects of the business. They will meet with the consigner to determine what their needs are and make that their top priority. They then, clean the items (if necessary) photograph the items, describe the items, pack the items, pick up the items and deliver them to the auction venue, unpack the items and set up the items to be previewed. Mr. Eckles has handled the items no less than 5 times prior to getting up to the podium to sell them. For sure he knows what he is selling and can reflect his knowledge of the items to the audience, unlike other auctioneers that fly in the night before the auction and have no idea what they are selling.
